Message from Ben Williams, Superintendent

Dear Taylor School District Parents/Guardians,

I would like to say hello and introduce myself.  I am privileged and honored to have recently joined the Taylor School District as your new Superintendent of Schools.  In the past, I taught middle and high school English and Social Studies, served as an assistant principal, then principal of two large high schools, one in North Carolina and one here in Michigan, and then most recently, I just completed 5 years as Superintendent in a small rural district up north.  This is my twentieth year in education, and I could not be more excited to be here and to partner with such a fantastic faculty and staff.

Like many districts in Michigan, we have our share of challenges.  However, I am confident that with a renewed sense of purpose, and a steadfast commitment to always doing what is best for kids, the Taylor School District is poised to become the top district in the downriver area.

I am looking forward to meeting many of you at some of our school and community events throughout this year, and I am honored to be part of the Taylor educational family.

Ben Williams

Superintendent, Taylor School District
