The Foundation is hosting its first annual Wall of Fame gala. We are asking for nominations of people who have made significant contributions (not just money) to the Taylor School district or a past Taylor Schools graduate who has had a successful career. The person making a significant contribution does not have to be a Taylor Schools graduate. The link below will take you to a description of the criteria and also a form to fill out to make a nomination of someone you want to have considered. We will have a committee that will evaluate the nominations and select up to three who will be honored. The deadline for nominations is February 20th. Once filled out and submitted, the nomination form will be sent to the Foundation school e-mail. Our robotics team is moving into competition season and looking for new members! Anyone interested in joining can start attending practices. They are every day starting at 3pm at the Career Center. Members can be in 6th-12th grade with no experience necessary. For more information please email coach joseph.horth@taylorschools.net.

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is an organization in the United States that honors excellence in career and technical education. It recognizes outstanding students who have demonstrated excellence in their technical fields such as manufacturing, health sciences, information technology, and other vocational areas. NTHS aims to promote educational excellence and career development while fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment among its members. Members of the National Technical Honor Society often participate in community service projects, leadership development activities, and networking opportunities within their chosen fields. We are having a fundraiser on April 5th. If you are interested in participating please let me or Mike Harris know. The flyer is attached.
