Taylor Career Center has partnered with EmergeSkilled to connect our students to career opportunities throughout our community and beyond. EmergeSkilled is an online platform designed to connect students who attend Taylor Career and Technical Center to career opportunities while providing resources to explore career pathways and prepare students for their careers and job search. Taylor students will have access to connect to verified companies that can provide students with opportunities for job shadows, work-based learning, part-time, seasonal and full-time jobs. We are looking for community businesses and organizations interested in partnering with us.
Please visit our open house style parent teacher conferences on April 20th. Anyone interested in touring, speaking with staff, and inquiring about our programs and offerings should attend if possible. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The famous welding Christmas tree is now in our lobby for all to see. Welding students made every piece of the tree down to the presents underneath.
Did someone say Christmas Cookies?! Our culinary students will be busy elves this season baking up a storm. Place your orders with Chef Gauthier by December 10th
Good Afternoon Taylor Families, This is a reminder about our previous communication since the deadline is only a couple days away on Wednesday, December 1st, 2022. Please see our communication below for more details. If you have already replied through our survey, please do not send another one. We are currently analyzing those requests. In preparation for next semester we are gathering information from families who wish to change learning options for their children for the 2nd Semester which will start on January 24, 2022. A link to a letter has been added to the bottom of this email, along with being placed on our district website. Throughout the day, our Principals will also be communicating the letter to families. The letter contains a link to a survey that will allow you to request a change of your child’s learning option to Virtual or Face-to-Face. If you do not wish to change your child’s learning model, there is no further action needed. Keep in mind that depending on the amount of responses we get, our ability to honor your requests will be based on staffing, which means we cannot guarantee your requests will be granted. However, we will do our best to serve the needs of each of our families. Thanks and have a great day. Link to the Letter TSD Learning Option Form 21-22 (2nd Semester)
