ALL TAYLOR SCHOOLS WILL BE GIVEN SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENTS IN 2019 - 2020:

Below is the MDE Required Assessment, Mode of Assessment, and grade level dates to be tested

WIDA for English Learner Students (ONLINE)

  • Kindergarten - 12th Grade: February 3 - March 20

MI-ACCESS Alternate Assessment (ONLINE*)

Kindergarten - 12th Grade: April 13 - May 29

There are still portions of this assessment that are completed on paper and pencil, but depending on which version or content area you have will determine how it is assessed.

M-STEP English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics Assessments (ONLINE)

3rd and 4th Grade, May 4 - May 29

  • Math Computer Adaptive Test (~ 1 hour and 30 minutes)

  • ELA Computer Adaptive Test (~ 2 hours)

6th and 7th Grade, May 4 - May 29

  • Math Computer Adaptive Test (~ 2 hours)

  • ELA Computer Adaptive Test (~ 2 hours)

5th Grade, April 13 - May 8

  • Math Computer Adaptive Test (~ 1 hour and 30 minutes)

  • ELA Computer Adaptive Test (~ 2 hours)

  • Science Test (~ 45 minutes)

  • Social Studies Test (2 parts, each taking ~ 30 minutes)

8th Grade, April 13 - May 8

  • Science Test (~ 45 minutes)

  • Social Studies (2 parts, each taking ~ 30 minutes)

11th Grade, April 13 - May 8

  • Science Test (~ 45 minutes)

  • Social Studies Test (~30 minutes)
