Mrs. Dultz

Mrs. Dultz plays major role in freshmen success

By Aria Ragland, ‘26

Freshmen year can be a tough adjustment for many reasons. One teacher that is always willing to help in this transition is Mrs. Dultz, 9th grade English teacher. Mrs. Tori Dultz is an amazing English teacher by day, and an encouraging grandmother by night.

This will be her 25th year teaching, coming over from Kennedy when it closed in 2018. She currently teaches 9th grade English, but she also has a special Film Lit class, open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Although she takes much pride in her profession, the loves her life are her 5 grandchildren! She helps take care of her grandchildren by helping each of them and taking them to dance practice, recitals, competitions, etc. Whatever they need, she is there to provide!

Dultz graduated with a Master’s Degree in reading from the University of Michigan.

Her hobbies, besides taking care of her grandchildren are baking, decorating cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. She also likes to scrapbook, read, and watch movies in her free time.

Mrs. Dultz is happy at THS. “I like the people. We have the best staff and students; they’re like family,” she said.

Mrs. Dultz has a nice way of combining understanding and real-life expectations in her classes, which is important for all students, but even more important for 9th graders!
