To our community leaders,
Last year our school became a PBIS school. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. It is a framework used in schools and other educational settings to promote positive behavior and create a more supportive and effective learning environment. PBIS is based on the idea that teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors is more effective than solely focusing on punishing negative behaviors.
The ultimate goal of PBIS is to create a positive and inclusive school culture where students are
encouraged and empowered to make positive choices, and where disruptive and challenging behaviors are minimized through proactive measures. PBIS has been shown to be effective in reducing disciplinary issues, improving school climate, and supporting the academic success of students.
I’m reaching out to community supporters who share a passion for our students and their success. Your
contribution, no matter the size, would be immensely appreciated and would help us offer incentives and rewards for our PBIS events. Specific ways to contribute:
➔ Donate cash or gift cards towards our monthly raffle drawing. We draw 15 winners monthly
➔ Donate cash towards us catering our student of the month luncheon
➔ Have your company cater our student of the month luncheon
➔ State funding guidelines specifically state that funds cannot be spent on food, clothing, or
personal items for students. Cash donations towards the purchase of these items for PBIS
incentives or donating these items themselves.

We can provide a tax ID number and will list you as a sponsor on our social media page, website, and promotional materials.
