This year we are making a commitment as students and staff to make West Middle School not only a great place to learn, but an anti-bullying school. Part of this commitment is the free anti-bullying T-shirts given to the students to wear on Mondays. The Focus classes with the best participation receive breakfast of their choice each month!

Relational Aggression
Relational aggression encompasses behaviors that harm others by damaging, threatening to damage or manipulating one's relationships with his/her peers, or by injuring one's feelings of social acceptance. Relational aggression tends to be common among girls. This topic is one of the main focuses of the Ophelia Project which serves youth and adults who are affected by relational and other non-physical forms of aggression by providing them with a unique combination of tools, strategies and solutions. They are dedicated to creating safe social climate.
