About Kinyon Elementary
Kinyon Elementary is a K-5 grade school with approximately 459 students. There are 4 kindergarten classrooms, 4 first grade classrooms, 2 second grade classrooms, 1 second/third split, 2 third, 2 fourth grade classrooms, and 2 fifth grade classrooms.
In addition to the 17 general education classrooms, Kinyon's special education includes both lower and upper elementary ASD (autism spectrum disorder) classrooms, two learning resource teachers, and a speech and language pathologist on staff.
Kinyon's School Improvement Goals
Goal 1: All students at Kinyon Elementary School will increase proficiency in grade level reading objectives.
Goal 2: All students at Kinyon Elementary School will increase proficiency in grade level math objectives.
Goal 3: All students at Kinyon Elementary School will increase proficiency in grade level writing objectives.
Goal 4: All students at Kinyon Elementary School will increase proficiency in grade level science objectives.
Goal 5: All students at Kinyon Elementary School will increase proficiency in grade level social studies objectives.
Goal 6: All students at Kinyon Elementary School will have a safe and positive learning environment.
Our school colors are purple, blue, and gold and our mascot is the Roadrunner. We have roadrunner pride!
