Career Center Honors Banquet 2016On May 9th, students from the Career Center were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at a banquet. These 35 students meet criteria including a 3.7 Career Center GPA, less than 5 absences, and regular attendance to NTHS meetings. All students who qualified performed a community service project in the "Beautification Project" at the Career Center. Tasks included: spreading mulch, pulling weeds, planting flowers and leveling brick paver retaining walls.
In addition to the NTHS inductees, students from BPA, DECA, HOSA, SKILLS USA and our TNT Robotics teams were honored. It was an opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of those students and their leadership in the class and as a member of their respective organizations. Students enjoyed the opportunity to dress professionally and be recognized in front of their peers, family, and friends. Like their families, our staff know that this is a great group of students and are proud of each and every one of them.
