Course Description:
This
course provides experiences in the fields
of measurements, force, work and energy,
heat, wave-motion, sound, light,
electricity, and magnetism. Mathematics
will be used in problem solving. Lab
experiments will be included on a regular
basis.
Many
colleges require a physics credit, so the
class is recommended for college bound
students. It is particularly important for
those considering engineering, medicine or
physical sciences in college.

Algebra
1, Geometry, Chemistry 1, 9th
grade Science and one of the following:
(Life Science Foundations, Biology I or
Biochemistry).
