The Mobile Dentists will be here March 7th through the 10th. Thank you to all parents and students for turning in permission slips. Over 120 students will be getting their teeth cleaned by the Mobile Dentists this year! This program is always a great success!!
Thank you for all that participated in the Little
Ceasars Fundraisers. Books and magazines were able to be
purchased for students.
One Wednesday, February 15th, students and staff
were able to tour Ms. Focht's room to vote on a Western Hemisphere
country project. The students spent weeks working together to
research the country of their choice. Then they had to set up
and present what they gathered and learned. Students made
travel brochures, displayed maps and flags, and gathered items grown
or sold in their specific country. It was magnificent!

Mr. Wayne Gorman, psychologist in the
city of Taylor will be returning to offer a Parent Support Group.
The purpose of the group is to allow parents to share feelings and
ideas about various concerns you may be experiencing as a parent.
We are please to announce that Judge Salamone from the Taylor 23rd District Court came out to swear us in as official Citizens of Myersville. Judges, Senators and Peacekeepers all took separate oaths. It was a great experience for our children. Currently ventures and agencies are open for business. The first newspaper is ready to be sold. Students are selling hand made items and offering various services to citizens. We welcome parents to drop in for a visit on Fridays to observe "Consumer Time" where students are working in their business or out shopping. If you seek any further information about Micro or would like to make a donation, please talk to your child's teacher. |
