(For First Time Freshmen Only)

Snacks (provided), Schedules, Lockers distrubuted.

The purpose of this orientation is to make the transition from middle school to high school a positive one.  Serniors and juniors will be serving as Leaders and mentors to the freshmen.  Large and small group activities are designed to address students' needs and concerns in an enjoyable manner.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes!
Leave your backpacks and purses at home!

Back to school information

The first day of school, Tuesday, 6-SEPT-16, will be a half day of school starting at 7:20am and ending at 10:30am. Because this day will serve as an orientation day, the following forms must be completed prior to the first day of school:

  • Emergency Cards (2)
  • Title I Parent/Student/Teacher/Principal Compact
  • Concussion Form

2016 homecoming

Game: September 23, 2016
Game time 7:00pm
$5 admission $3 for Kennedy Students with ID
Dance: September 24, 2016
Ticket will be sold for $15 a person

18th Annual Homecoming Parade
Parade starts at New Hope Assembly of God Church, 14000 Racho Rd.
September 23, 2016 at 5:00pm.

Everyone is invited to watch the parade.

 

Take a trip to England in the summer of 2017!

This excursion is open to Advanced Placement English students and Accelerated students in the classes of 2016, 2017, and 2018. Parents are welcome.

  • Attend a Shakespearean play in Shakespeare's Globe Theater.
  • Visit the birthplace of Shakespeare.
  • Walk the streets of London.
  • Enjoy an English high tea.
  • Learn about architecture, art, and history.
  • Peruse paintings in London's National Gallery.
  • Visit Stonehenge.

This trip is planned by the Explorica company, and will take place June 26 - July 3, 2017.

The cost includes: all travel expenses (air, motor coaches, etc.), all admission fees for sites, two meals per day, tour guide (who stays with us from the time we arrive at the airport until we leave), other guides as needed, and tips.
