Welcome to Hoover Middle School
For 2011-2012, Hoover Middle School made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). AYP Status is based on student participation and proficiency in mathematics and reading. Attendance targets must be met for elementary and middle schools. While we are pleased to have reached this important goal, we are continuously working to improve. We appreciate the continued support of parents, staff and our community in this effort. Learn More>

Some of the gang from The Motor City Lyric Opera visited Hoover today to share their phenomenal talents. They sang some well-known songs from some famous operas. They performed songs from other genres, as well. There was something for everybody. Oh, and we learned a few things . . . "Bravo!"

- Thursday and Friday, May 30th and 31st - Principal's Pride trip to Mackinac Island
- Wednesday, June 12th - Final exams
- Thursday, June 13th - Final exams and last day of school for students
