EMT - New Ambulance 2017

Talk about hands-on . . .

In February, the Career Center's E.M.T. class took delivery of a retired ambulance, graciously donated by Superior Ambulance of Michigan. The students have been extremely excited to put the ambulance to good use, practicing such things as loading and unloading a patient from the ambulance, learning what it's like to work within a confined space, treating a patient while transporting to the hospital. The E.M.T. class will benefit from this piece of equipment for years to come. The students and staff would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Mr. Andy Brown of Superior Ambulance, and Mr. Blaine Honeycutt, Taylor School Board President, and those who made this opportunity happen - Thank you!
